Bravo has reportedly been a target for Guardiola since the tactician took over at the Etihad, as he is not convinced that Joe Hart fits his style.
Fernandez also commented on the search for Bravo’s replacement, who is reportedly Ajax Amsterdam’s Jasper Cillessen.
“We are awaiting events this week [regarding a replacement for Bravo],” he added.
“When Claudio leaves, we hope to have a new keeper.”
