Juventus Left Frustrated By Gladbach

Juventus endured a frustrating evening, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Borussia Monchengladbach at the Juventus Stadium on Wensday evening.

The Serie A champions still remain top of Group D after picking up just one point, while Gladbach remain rooted to the foot of the standings.

Malmo 1-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

Malmo registered their first win of the campaign, after recording a 1-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk at the Swedbank Stadion.

The only goal of the game arrived in the 18th minute, as Malmo captain Markus Rosenberg headed home Pa Konate’s cross.

Wolfsburg 2-0 PSV Eindhoven

VFL Wolfsburg leapfrogged Manchester United into top spot in Group B, after they defeated PSV Eindhoven 2-0 at the Volkswagen Arena.

Bas Dost opened the scoring in the 47th minute as he tapped home from six-yards out, before Max Kruse sealed the win in the 57th minute with a fine glancing header.

Galatasaray 2-1 Benfica

Galatasaray came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Benfica to secure their first victory of the group stage campaign.

Nicolas Gaitan handed the visitors the lead after just two minutes, before Selcuk Inan drew the Turkish outfit level from the penalty spot in the 19th minute. 

However, the win was secured in the 33rd minute when former Arsenal forward, Lukas Podolski, drilled home a low effort.
