Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral says he hopes luck will swing his side following Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela’s late arrival at the TKO press briefing earlier today.
At a joint Telkom Knockout press conference, Komphela arrived late and Ertugral believes this is a good omen for them.
He told the Siya crew that in many cases people who arrive late lose on game day and he hopes the same happens on Saturday in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinals at Mbombela Stadium.
“This is a good omen for us to see Steve being late. But looking at the game we have the confidence that we can do well. Obviously it won’t be easy playing a team like Chiefs who are very good in cup games but if you look at the way we played against Platinum Stars on Wednesday then we can have the hope of winning this game and qualify for the semi-finals,” the Turkish-born coach concluded.
