Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez each bagged a brace as Barcelona romped to a 6-0 La Liga victory over Getafe on Tuesday evening.
The win sees the Catalan side increase their lead to five points over Spanish rivals Real Madrid, who still have a game in hand against Almeria on Wednesday.
Messi started off a thrilling first half, which saw the home side power to a 5-0 lead at half-time, with a penalty in the ninth minute, before Luis Suarez and Neymar joined the Argentine on the scoresheet within the first 28 minutes of the match.
Xavi Hernandez made it 4-0 on the half-hour mark, with Suarez completing his brace five minutes before the half-time whistle.
The four-time FIFA Ballon d’Or winner then completed the rout in the 47th minute by bagging his second goal of the night, and his 48th goal in all competitions this season.
Messi, Neymar and Suarez also took their goal tally to 102 goals between the three of them so far this season.
There are now just four rounds of league fixtures left before the La Liga champions are crowned on 24 May.
