Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates share points in a Soweto Derby match , a result which sees Chiefs hold an 11-point lead over second place, Mamelodi Sundowns and “Yeye” has welcomed the point.
“It was not an easy one, we knew that they wanted to play and first half we allowed them to play but in the position we wanted them to play,” Letsholonyane said after the game.
“The second half we opened up and we started playing better as team and we worked hard, a point is better than nothing for us.”
Meanwhile, Reneilwe Letsholonyane’s teammate, Siphiwe Tshabalala, always knew it would be a tough encounter.
“We knew what to expect, It was going to be a tough one and they had a lot of possession in the first half but we kept our shape and our structure, and we knew that we’ll get those chances, we did create a few good chances and sadly did not bury them,” he said.
